Brandon Nugent Swim Coaching

Open water swimming is not easy.  It takes guts to do it when you’ve never done it before.  By yourself you put yourself at risk, with a group, it becomes something else.

Coyote Point is one location that is great for first timers to head out into the open water.  It’s shallow, sometimes choppy, and has these random poles to help with sighting practice.  I highly recommend it.

This morning I took a group out and we had a blast.  We even worked on water exit, and beach entries.  It was good practice.  Everyone had a partner and we took turns drafting off of each other.

Perfect morning for a dip.
